Move-In

During the housing selection process, you will select a 45-minute move-in appointment. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to change it later, if needed. Check your Housing Portal to find out when you can book your appointment.

On your move-in day, make sure to arrive as close to the start of your appointment as possible. If you show up too late or miss your appointment, you’ll have to select a new time slot from the limited remaining options.

In order to get your car ready for move-in, load your belongings and make sure they’re labeled with your first and last name. You will also need to print the move-in voucher found in your housing portal. Your voucher grants you access to one parking spot, so be sure you place it on the dashboard of the vehicle you plan to take to your building. Any additional vehicles will be directed elsewhere to unload.

When you arrive, follow our posted traffic signs to find your building. GCU staff and students will be there to greet you and assign you a parking space near your building. If you are new to GCU, our Welcome Crew will be here to greet you and help you to your building. You will also be provided with a Campus Cruiser when you arrive to help you move your things to your room.

Once inside your building, make sure you check in. You must be present as close to your appointment time as possible. At the end of your move-in appointment, you will need to move your vehicle to an assigned parking garage to make room for the next student. After you park, you can return to your building to finish settling into your new home!
