Move-In

During the housing selection process, you will select a 45-minute curbside appointment. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to change it later, if needed. Check your Housing Portal to find out when you can book your appointment.

On your move-in day, make sure to arrive as close to the start of your appointment as possible. If you show up too late or miss your appointment, you’ll have to select a new time slot from the limited remaining options.

In order to get your car ready for move-in, load your belongings and print the move-in voucher found in your housing portal. Your voucher grants you access to one parking spot in front of your building, so be sure you place it on the dashboard of the vehicle you plan to take to your building. Any additional vehicles will be directed elsewhere to unload.*

*Moving trucks exceeding 20 feet in length will be directed to the designated oversized parking area during Move-In. Semi-trucks are too large to fit around your building and will be turned away.

When you arrive, follow our posted traffic signs to find your building. GCU staff and students will be there to greet you and assign you a parking space near your building. You will also be provided with a Campus Cruiser (a large moving box on wheels) when you arrive to help you move your things to your room.

Once inside your building, make sure you check in. You must be present as close to your appointment time as possible. At the end of your move-in appointment, you will need to move your vehicle to an assigned parking garage to make room for the next student. After you park, you can return to your building to finish settling into your new home! Make sure and familiarize yourself withe the move-in maps below!
